QuickRemove ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension developed by DigitalCubeDesigns that automates bulk URL removal requests in Google Search Console. This Privacy Policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what we do (and do not) collect.
1. Our commitment
QuickRemove is built with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit your Search Console data, URLs, or personal information to our servers or any third party.
2. Data the extension accesses
To perform its function, the extension needs to read and interact with pages on search.google.com/search-console. Specifically, it:
- Reads the URL list you paste or import inside the extension popup.
- Automates form submissions on the Search Console "Removals" page on your behalf.
- Stores your license key and user preferences locally in your browser using
chrome.storage.local.
All processing happens entirely on your device. Your URLs never leave your browser.
3. Data we do NOT collect
- ❌ We do not collect the URLs you submit for removal.
- ❌ We do not collect your Google account, email, or Search Console data.
- ❌ We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers inside the extension.
- ❌ We do not sell or share any user data — because we have none.
4. License validation
Pro users activate a license key issued through our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy). When you activate a key, the extension makes a single request to our license server to validate that key. This request contains only your license key and a hashed device identifier — never your URLs or Search Console data.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. When you purchase a Pro license, your billing information (name, email, payment details) is handled by Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policy. We only receive your email address and license status.
6. Website analytics
This marketing website may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Google Analytics or Plausible) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected, and no data from the extension is linked to website analytics.
7. Permissions explained
- storage — to save your license key and preferences locally.
- activeTab / scripting — to automate the removal form on the active Search Console tab.
- host permission for search.google.com — required to interact with the Search Console UI.
8. Children's privacy
QuickRemove is a professional SEO tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the extension after changes means you accept the updated policy.
