Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ADA Guard Chrome extension and website (the "Service"), operated by DigitalCube Designs ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using ADA Guard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What ADA Guard is
ADA Guard is an automated accessibility risk-awareness tool. It scans web pages and provides an estimated accessibility "risk score", a list of detected issues, and (on Pro) suggested fixes and a downloadable report.
2. Important disclaimer — not legal advice
ADA Guard does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with the ADA, WCAG, or any other law or standard. Automated tools detect roughly 30–50% of accessibility issues; they cannot replace a manual audit by a qualified accessibility professional. A passing score or generated certificate is not a legal guarantee that your website is compliant or that you are protected from any claim or lawsuit. You use the Service and rely on its output entirely at your own risk.
3. Accounts, plans & billing
- ADA Guard offers a Free plan and paid Pro/Agency plans.
- Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, on a monthly or yearly basis as selected at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Prices may change; we will give notice of changes for renewals.
4. Refunds
If you are not satisfied, contact us at support@digitalcubedesigns.com within 14 days of purchase and we will review your refund request in good faith. Refunds are handled through Lemon Squeezy.
5. License to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ADA Guard for your own or your clients' websites in accordance with your plan. Agency plans permit use across multiple client sites. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scan sites you are not authorized to test
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, license checks, or security
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
7. Intellectual property
ADA Guard, its branding, and its content are owned by DigitalCube Designs. The axe-core scanning engine is provided under its own open-source license (MPL 2.0).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigitalCube Designs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lawsuit, claim, fine, or loss arising from your reliance on the Service or its output. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
